You’ll build relationships, improve the quality of life and serve elderly in need of love and care. Your goal will be to help individuals enjoy life by helping them perform their simple daily functions; meal prep, light exercise, local transportation, social interactions and housekeeping. Your compassion and diligence as a caregiver will bring joy into the lives of the clients you work with and help them feel encouraged, involved and loved. You will be required to transport client to outings Library, park, etc..

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance by attending to their basic ADL's needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
• Assist clients take prescribed medication
• Assist with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Complete client’s shopping or accompanies them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
• Communicates on a weekly basis or more often as necessary with the supervisor.
• Enforce health and safety standards.
• Planning and preparing meals according to specific dietary requirements of the client, and if necessary, assist with feeding the client.

Qualifications

• Supportive and compassionate. Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Take pride in providing high-quality care for Seniors
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Immediately reports emergency situations by phone to supervisor or office.
• Follows assignments and regulations.
• Assisting with personal care and a variety of daily living activities.
• Assistance with maintaining a safe, clean and healthy environment.

At least 1 years of working experience in a Home Health setting and a valid CPR/first Aid, Drivers license, and Proof of car insurance

Must have a high school diploma/GED

Must be able to pass a level 2 background screening
