Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is looking for a Nurse Practitioner / PA to work in a correctional facility in Morganton, NC. As a Nurse Practitioner you will provide primary care and medical management of offenders in correctional facilities.
Pay-Rate : working 40hrs per week
62 / hr
65 / hr travel rate
Description :
- Conduct thorough physical assessments, including medical history, vital signs, and symptom evaluation. Identify changes in patient condition and respond promptly.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members. Administer treatments, medications, and procedures as needed.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress. Interpret diagnostic test results, such as ECGs and lab work. Adjust treatment plans as required.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. Maintain clear and accurate patient records.
- Provide guidance and education to patients and their families regarding their condition, treatment plans, and aftercare.
- Participate in managing emergency situations, including code blue responses and life-saving interventions.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and adherence to best practices. Stay updated on the latest medical advances in critical care.
