HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant to fill an opening with a primary care clinic in Deland, FL.
Daily Responsibilities for Bilingual Medical Assistant:
- Back office duties such as prepping and cleaning rooms, socking rooms, taking and recording patient vitals, documenting medical history and chief complaints, blood draws and injections
- When helping up front: check in check out, patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, assisting patients with questions
- Monday through Friday, from 8:00am-5:00pm
Required Qualifications for Bilingual Medical Assistant:
- 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant within a clinic setting experienced in front and back desk duties
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Phlebotomy experience
- Experience with the adult/geriatric populations
Preferred Qualifications for Bilingual Medical Assistant:
- eCW experience
