Daily Responsibilities for Medical Assistant:
- Assisting providers in the examination and treatment of patients following established standards and practices
- Providing care in triaging, vital signs, blood draws, providing medication reconciliation, etc.
- May occasionally work in the front office: checking patients in, answering calls, etc.
- 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant; 5 years for Float MA, in a primary care background
- Long tenures in job history (at least 1-2 jobs with 1.5-2 years tenure)
- Skills: Vital signs, Documentation, EMR experience, Lab knowledge
Preferred Qualifications for Medical Assistant:
- Experience with geriatrics
- eCW Experience
- Phlebotomy Skills
- Immediate enrollment in Health Insurance
