Overview:
HealthDrive is seeking an HR Helpdesk Specialist to join our team! The HR Helpdesk Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries, providing high-quality customer service and support to employees. This role requires a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual who will handle HR inquiries regarding policies, benefits, payroll, employee records, and other HR-related matters. The HR Helpdesk Specialist will also ensure that employee requests are addressed in a timely, professional, and confidential manner.
We are conveniently located off Route 9 in Framingham, MA, close to routes 90 and 495 in a spacious modern office with a workout center available right in the building!

Employee Support:
Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking HR-related assistance, including queries about benefits, payroll, vacation, and company policies.-
HR System Management:
Assist employees with access and navigation of HR software, ensuring accurate data entry and updates in employee records. -
Payroll and Benefits Inquiries:
Provide assistance with understanding payroll issues, and benefit enrollment -
Documentation & Records:
Maintain accurate records of employee inquiries and resolutions, ensuring that all confidential information is handled with discretion. -
Policy and Procedure Guidance:
Provide clear and accurate information to employees regarding HR policies and procedures in accordance with company standards. -
Onboarding & Offboarding Support:
Assist with the coordination of new hire paperwork, orientation, and exit processes for departing employees. -
Communication & Reporting:
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to appropriate HR team members. Document common issues and trends to help identify areas for improvement in HR processes. -
Training & Knowledge Base:
Contribute to the development and updating of internal HR training materials and FAQs for employees.
Other duties and tasks may be assigned as appropriate or necessary.
Qualifications:
Skills & Specifications
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Customer service oriented.
- Computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and web-based payroll and benefits programs. Paychex experience is a plus.
Education & Qualifications
Education:
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, a focus in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.-
Experience:
Experience in a customer service role strongly preferred. -
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with HRIS or similar HR software is a plus.
