Medical Director - Hospitalist

StartDate : ASAP Available Shifts : M-F Pay Rate : $300000.00 - $350000.00

Role and Responsibilities

• Clinical / Administrative Duties : 75% clinical and 25% administrative.
• Flexible Clinical Schedule : Pick up 9-12 clinical shifts per month.
• Team Leadership : Lead a team of 16 providers.
• Clinical Counsel : Provide advice to the CMO on clinical matters in your specialty.
• Collaboration : Work with Department Chairs and other Medical Staff leaders to support and develop clinical services.
• Schedule Oversight : Maintain oversight of schedules to ensure continuous clinical coverage.
• Compliance : Ensure the clinical service meets or exceeds State or Federal requirements and complies with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
• Strategic Alignment : Align clinical practice with hospital goals and strategies.
• Recruitment and Retention : Assist in the recruitment and retention of physicians and advanced practice clinicians.
• Patient Care Improvement : Partner with other departments and clinical services to enhance patient care.
