A Workday Systems Analyst specializing in Supply Chain Management (SCM) is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Workday’s SCM module. This role supports procurement, inventory management, and supply chain efficiency. This position reports to the Business Applications Manager and supports the ongoing Workday project, with potential for full-time employment upon project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Configuration & Support: Configure and maintain Workday SCM, ensuring alignment with procurement and inventory management needs.
- Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with supply chain teams to streamline procurement workflows, improve vendor management, and enhance automation.
- Data Management & Reporting: Ensure data integrity, manage supplier information, and create reports for supply chain performance analysis.
- Testing & Issue Resolution: Conduct testing for Workday updates, troubleshoot procurement and inventory system issues, and ensure smooth system operation.
- User Support & Training: Assist supply chain teams with Workday functionalities, develop training resources, and guide users on best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience working with Workday SCM module.
- Participation in at least one full Workday implementation or major system enhancement.
- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is preferred.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot Workday SCM workflows.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with vendor management and supply chain reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Workday SCM and related modules such as Procurement, Sourcing, Inventory, and Supplier Accounts.
