Job Description
As a Check In Representative you are a vital point of contact for a patient entering Heatlhpartners Clinic Stillwater locations. This position facilitates the check in process, including greeting, assisting and directing clinic patients/families; collection of co-pays; clerical duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and coordinating waiting room flow; performs related reception duties as assigned. This position is expected to support the mission, goals and objectives of the clinic.

This position is expected to support the mission, goals and objectives of the clinic.
Work Schedule
- 1.0 FTE/40 hours per week
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Located at Curve Crest clinic - front desk check in
- High School diploma/equivalent.
- Two years in a position interacting with the public using telephones and computer.
- Must have one of the following:
- Graduate of a formal training program in medical reception, an equivalent program, or a customer service program;
- Two years of experience as a medical receptionist; or
- Two years of experience in a customer service position.
- One year experience using data look-up an data entry functions on a mainframe of PC based computer system.
- One year customer service experience either via telephone or in-person within the last five years.
- Insurance experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to organize while busy
- Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in EPIC computer system
