HealthReach has a rare opportunity for a great Communications Specialist ("Designer") to engage in creative work within the non-profit public health/healthcare sphere. Firmly situated at the intersection of health, wellness, storytelling, education, rurality, accessibility, and matters of equity, our next Communications Specialist will influence how our community members across Central & Western Maine learn about and access affordable, quality healthcare close to home. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in developing new ideas, readily receiving & acting on feedback, general design strategies, influencing audiences with compelling visuals, and engaging diverse audiences. Some knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite, or equivalent similar competing platforms (like GIMP), is required — InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop experience.
