Your Role as a HealthStreamer

Summary of Position

As the Senior Director, Regional Accounts you will lead a team of 8-10 Account Managers responsible for the growth and retention of key accounts. Primary duties include recruiting and developing senior-level sales talent, providing strategic guidance to the sales team with direct client engagement, analyzing forecasting and account revenue data and developing plans in order to achieve revenue growth targets, and collaborating with solution sales leaders to ensure beneficial outcomes across all product portfolios. The Senior Director, Regional Accounts reports directly to the VP, Acute Account Sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (The below listed duties are not all inclusive. This position must also perform other duties as assigned.):

  • Create plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and support corporate initiatives
  • Assist in the negotiation and closing of business including gaining internal buy-in for creative sales positioning, negotiating contract terms, and securing commitment and signature
  • Develop plans and strategies to achieve renewals targets while aligning with broader Account Management leadership in defining and refining processes to ensure retention of both Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and subscribers
  • Identify and successfully escalate any roadblocks and challenges to the teams success
  • Manage and coach team against defined Sales Competencies and defined performance measures
  • Provide feedback from the field to cross-functional, internal stakeholders on customer needs, trends, and competitive intelligence.

What You Will Need to Be Successful

Education, Experience and Knowledge Required:

    • 10 years selling software solutions in the healthcare market, with a deep knowledge of healthcare buying cycles and current market conditions specifically within the Acute space
    • 5 years of successful sales leadership experience, leading teams that manage both renewals and expansions/upsells with existing large, complex accounts in a team selling environment.
    • A proven record of leading teams that have successfully built and maintained relationships with VP/C-level contacts within each account to generate positive customer and financial outcomes
    • Demonstrates creative problem solving, while taking initiative and ownership of your team to empower all employees to achieve their defined goals and objectives
    • Experience collaborating with product, success management, and other departments to achieve team and company revenue goals
    • Extensive experience engaging with key stakeholders internally for key reporting, delivering results and trends from the market with concise, executive level communication
    • Proficient in pipeline development and accurate forecasting, for both renewals and new sales
    • Ability to travel 25-40%
