Our Part Time Fitness Sales Professional earns commission on NEW member sales results. They thrive in generating their personal sales goals in a manner that fosters member retention. The work is not easy but worthwhile. They show self-initiative to perform a variety of activities necessary for success, including : handing out guest passes, talking up Center activities, asking for referrals for lead generation, booking and confirming appointments by phone or internet, conducting center tours, presenting rates, asking for the sale, uncovering concerns, and scheduling timely follow-up with those who have not yet become new members.
The Ideal Candidate : is looking for a varied work schedule that includes some evenings, weekends, and a few weekday shifts on a part-time basis. You are a believer in fitness for life. Others view you as honest and authentic with a natural ability to be a good listener who is likable and relates well with others. You have a keen sense of personal pride in exceeding goals. You have some previous experience in retail sales, ideally within the fitness, health, and wellness industry. A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Communication, Marketing, or the equivalent is preferred but not required. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with attention to detail in verbal and written communications.
