Job Summary And Qualifications
The Project Manager serves within the HealthTrust/Resource Optimization & Innovation (ROi) organization. The PM is accountable for participating in, leading, and directing supply chain integration projects for ROi within the Mercy Health System. The PM will support supply chain functions as appropriate within the respected hospital communities. The PM will perform responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and service standards of Mercy Health and HealthTrust/ROi.

Job Summary And Qualifications
The Project Manager serves within the HealthTrust/Resource Optimization & Innovation (ROi) organization. The PM is accountable for participating in, leading, and directing supply chain integration projects for ROi within the Mercy Health System. The PM will support supply chain functions as appropriate within the respected hospital communities. The PM will perform responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and service standards of Mercy Health and HealthTrust/ROi.
What you will do in this role:
- Understand general business requirements and intended outcomes and translate them into specific project requirements. Manage interdependencies between business, operations, and technology needs.
- Gather, document, and present business requirements to appropriate constituencies and obtain sign off.
- Prepare detailed project plans based on business requirements gathered to drive all phases of the project.
- Identify all internal/external resources required to complete projects successfully. Assign roles and responsibilities, deadlines, and prepare estimates.
- Establish common goals across multiple teams and define useful metrics and reporting to track team performance.
- Participate in the due diligence/pre-acquisition phase of Mercy acquisition projects in any of the three Mercy Communities. Tasks to include review and analysis of legacy GPO, and regional group purchasing affiliations.
- Provide data for proforma financial impact documents, report out to cross-functional teams, obtain usage data from customer/vendors, coordinate initial GPO cost study analysis and comparison, map current state supply chain process flows, and gather current state documents, lists, and licenses.
- Maintain status reports and project metrics. Present status updates and reports to executive leadership and project participants within Mercy, ROi, and the customer’s organization.
- Facilitate the acquisition of data/data feeds for use by the cost study team. Ensure timely completion of cost studies for the customer, working with the cost study team and the customer key stakeholders to prioritize the categories and contracts for conversion to the HPG portfolio.
- Coordinate HealthTrust/ROi resources to identify supply chain hardware/software requirements, to include completion of Bill of Materials, facilitating install, user training, physical inventories, set up of courier and distribution processes.
- Lawson set up and location/user build, installation of vendor credentialing software, and post go-live support and trouble shooting.
- High School Graduate/Equivalent Required
- Bachelor's degree Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Logistics or Supply Chain Preferred
- 7 years of experience in a consulting industry experience, with strong relationship management, account management, and sales support service Required
