Job Summary And Qualifications
Responsible for the daily operations of all supply chain functions conducted within the hospital facility, serving as the liaison between the Consolidated Service Center and the hospital. You will support operations through inventory management and fostering a collaborative environment between supply chain and the clinical services team members. You will assist the Director in supply chain initiatives as needed.

Job Summary And Qualifications
Responsible for the daily operations of all supply chain functions conducted within the hospital facility, serving as the liaison between the Consolidated Service Center and the hospital. You will support operations through inventory management and fostering a collaborative environment between supply chain and the clinical services team members. You will assist the Director in supply chain initiatives as needed.
- Assist in leading and managing all facility Supply Chain operations activities.
- Communicates and assists in implementing goals and objectives for operations of reporting.
- Assists in managing sourcing and contracting initiatives from conception to completion; leveraging various internal and external contacts to ensure effective financial stewardship and responsive customer service.
- Collaborates and develops strong working relationships with various department leaders, physician leaders, other clinicians, hospital senior management, and supply chain staff to create healthy markets and competitive sourcing environment.
- Works with the supply team to implement cost reduction ideas and initiatives, including alternative strategies for implementation consideration.
- Engages suppliers and operational staff to ensure timely resolution of any service and delivery issues.
- Assists in managing and monitoring contract compliance and pending savings opportunities, supplier performance per contract service level agreements and realized cost savings. Reports on statistics to department leaders and senior leaders of the Mercy Community.
- Participates in value analysis teams, stakeholders and department meetings representing the department, conveying the philosophy, and demonstrating the principles of supply chain management to user departments.
- Acts as a resource to departments and staff regarding contractual agreements with suppliers.
- May require up to 25% travel
- Bachelor's degree Required
- 3 years of experience in supply chain related activities Required
- 1 year(s) of experience in management experience Required
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt Preferred
- Project Management Preferred
