About the role- As a CT Technologist with Healthworks, you’ll be responsible for :

Patient Care : Prepare patients for CT examinations, explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns. Ensure patient safety by adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

CT Imaging : Operate CT scanning equipment to produce high-quality images as per physician orders. Monitor and adjust scanning parameters to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.

Technical Skills : Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment. Keep accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and image quality.

Collaboration : Work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnosis and follow-up procedures. Assist in training and mentoring new staff and students in CT techniques and protocols.

Regulatory Compliance : Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as departmental policies. Stay updated on advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques.

What you bring to the team :

Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and CT. State licensure as required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging or related field.

Familiarity with PACS and radiology information systems (RIS).

Strong technical skills in operating CT scanners and related equipment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Capacity to work in a variety of clinical settings and adapt to changing priorities.
