Lead Developer (Full-Time, Hybrid)

Role Overview
The Lead Developer at HealthWorks Medical, LLC will be responsible for spearheading the
development and maintenance of proprietary applications and web portals. This role emphasizes
hands-on technical expertise, ensuring the seamless performance and scalability of our
technology platforms. The Lead Developer will also collaborate closely with internal
stakeholders to align technical development with business goals.
This is a hybrid position, offering a blend of in-office and remote work to provide flexibility
while maintaining strong collaboration and team engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:
Development and Maintenance of Proprietary Applications

•  Lead the design, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of proprietary software and web portals.
•  Develop secure and efficient PHP-based applications, optimizing database management using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
•  Integrate AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, SES, RDS) to enhance system scalability and reliability.
•  Oversee SMS integration and troubleshoot related technical issues.
•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective solutions.
•  Monitor application performance, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of technical glitches.

Technical Crisis Management

•  Serve as the primary point of contact for system outages and technical crises.
•  Develop and implement response protocols to ensure swift issue resolution and minimal business disruption.
•  Conduct root-cause analysis to mitigate recurring issues.

Collaboration with IT Manager

•  Partner with the IT Manager to address internal IT needs, including infrastructure and cybersecurity.

 Ensure all development aligns with IT policies and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA compliance).

Qualifications

Key Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
•  5 years of experience in software development with demonstrated expertise in:

          PHP programming and frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
          Database management and optimization (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
          AWS services (EC2, S3, SES, RDS) and Linux server administration.
          SMS integration and troubleshooting.
          Proven ability to manage the full software development lifecycle.
          Experience with crisis management in technical environments.
          Familiarity with healthcare regulations (HIPAA) is highly desirable.

Salary : $116,000 - $126,000
