Title: Customer Service Representative
Reports to: Director of Practice Operations
Overall Responsibility: Providing superb customer service and a welcoming environment to all patients seeking services
Areas of responsibility (Tasks):
- Prepares patients for their appointment by obtaining photo identification, signature of various consent forms, & associated Healthworks/Company paperwork required for visit.
- Responsible for ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
- Maintain & coordinate patient schedule for various providers & clinical staff.
- Field incoming phone calls & emails through shared authorization email inbox.
- Assists and prepares employer paperwork for the clinical staff
- Assists with covering at other locations as necessary
- Assists with tasks as directed by management
Skills required:
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and verbally
- Demonstrates personal responsibility, integrity and ability to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) in a manner consistent with HIPAA
- Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work both independently & as part of a team in following company protocols
- Demonstrates basic computer skills with Windows, Microsoft office programs, HealthWorks HER and other software as needed
Experience/Education required:
- Completes employer required trainings in a timely manner
