About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Before and After School Program Director to lead our program at Douglas Grafflin Elementary School in Chappaqua, NY. As the director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program, including staff management, curriculum implementation, and parent communication.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school rules.
- Develop and implement engaging hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum.
- Manage attendance and registration records, staffing levels, and daily program operations.
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents through the Playground App.
- Collaborate with direct reports to ensure seamless program delivery.
Requirements
To be successful as a Before and After School Program Director, you must have:
- An associate's degree in early childhood or related field, with a plan of study leading to a bachelor's degree or New York State children's program administrator credential.
- Two years of full-time teaching experience in a child care center or another early childhood program, plus two years of supervisory experience.
