We are seeking an energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic individual to join our summer camp team! As a Summer Camp Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging experience for all campers. You will assist with activities, supervise campers, and contribute to a positive camp environment. We're on the lookout for a dynamic
Assistant teacher to work in our Summer Program for the 2025 Summer Programs located in the Franklin, CT.
JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, June 23rd - August 15
Hours: Range from 8-5
PAY: $16.35 per hour
JOB CONSISTS OF:
- Bringing the Fun: Support Head teacher with engaging hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more.
- Keeping Everyone in the Loop: Maintain open lines of communication with parents and family members through the Playground App.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively and regularly with your direct report, ensuring they're up to speed on daily occurrences and addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner. By working together as a cohesive team, we'll provide the highest quality of care, foster a positive working environment, and proactively tackle any challenges that come our way.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- While having 1 year of experience working with kiddos under 13 is awesome, it's not a must-have. We believe in potential and passion!
