Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in administrative tasks, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls using phone systems, directing calls as necessary.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar.
- Perform insurance verification to ensure patient eligibility.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Office Practicum and Intelichart Patient Portal software.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, typing, scanning, allocating and managing office correspondence.
- Process patient information with accuracy, including 10 key typing for data entry.
- Support office management by maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
- Assist with any additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency with phone systems and administrative tasks is essential.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
