The Human Capital Coordinator provides essential support to the Human Capital team by managing administrative duties in onboarding, employee changes, and full-cycle recruiting. This role oversees the recruitment process, manages relationships with external recruiters, and monitors recruitment costs. The Human Capital Coordinator also conducts research, provides monthly HR analytics, and acts as the HRIS superuser for data management. Additionally, this role offers administrative support to the Human Capital Director, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and extending employment offers
- Conduct background checks and reference verifications to ensure compliant hiring practices
- Manage relationships and workflows with external recruiters, ensuring alignment with company hiring needs
- Monitor and manage recruitment costs, providing regular updates and cost analyses to the Director
- Lead bi-weekly staffing and recruitment meetings, providing updates on hiring progress and Oversee the onboarding process using the HRIS system, including tracking new hire progress and coordinating Day 1 activities
- Facilitate new hire orientation and provide HRIS training to all new employees
- Ensure all onboarding activities are completed promptly, collaborating with HC team members, managers, and IT for a seamless transition
- Ensure a smooth handoff from onboarding to employee management with the HC Generalist
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, managing the HC team inbox and routing requests to appropriate team members
- Provide backup support and research to employee questions, ensuring timely and accurate information
- Assist the Human Capital Director with administrative tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and special projects
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Analyze HR data and generate monthly reports on key metrics, such as headcount, turnover rates, and employee engagement
- Ensure data integrity by maintaining accurate employee records and updating information as needed
- Collaborate with the HRIS service team to implement new features and streamline HR workflows within the HRIS system
Qualification
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years of experience in HR support or recruiting
- Experience managing relationships with external recruiters and monitoring recruitment budget
- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, workday) and Microsoft Office Suit
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skill
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insight
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
