Your impact :
Delish is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Senior Editor to help lead digital content production. This position will edit and optimize news, features, and digital-first packages working with in-house and freelance writers. The ideal candidate has at least four years of professional experience in digital media and is fluent in best digital practices and has stellar copy editing and packaging chops.
What You'll Do :
- Pitch, top edit, and assign stories, with an eye for voice, cohesion, digital best practices, and grammar
- Liaise with writers, in-house and freelance, as well as central audience development teams and talent teams to achieve top-level content
- Track performance and data to inform editorial decisions
- Manage and work with a strong, diverse roster of freelance writers
- Write digital stories as needed
- Ideate, assign, and help execute digital packages
- Collaborate with photo, social, and design teams
- Support top-level editorial initiatives, as needed
Who You Are :
This position is based in the NYC office a minimum of 3 days a week.
This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
