Our office is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist that will provide a positive and welcoming environment to our patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Front Desk Agent Job Responsibilities:
- Greets patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage the front desk operations, including but not limited to answering phones, scheduling appointments and checking patients in and out.
- Perform insurance verification and collect copay and past balance from patients
- Collect necessary documentation for patient records
- Utilize electronic health records system such Athena/ Pulse to maintain accurate patient information
- Conduct documentation review to ensure completeness and compliance with medical coding standards
- Assist patient with inquiries regarding their appointments, billing, and insurance coverage
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate efficient patient flow within the office
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to enhance the overall patient experience
Schedule
- Monday to Friday /8 hour shifts / 8:30am-5:00pm
- No weekend / Closed on major holidays

Education

Experience
- Previous experience as an medical receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic health records system is strongly desire
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Operating multi line telephone, Experience in EMR systems
Licensing Requirements:
- No licensing or certificate are required
