Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our front desk staff. As a part of this team, you are the first point of contact for our community members. This individual will work at the Monen Healthcare intake desk. The receptionist will ensure that reports and records are complete, community members receive excellent service, are provided with pertinent information on HMC services, and are checked in the systems for service.
Intake
- Coordinate the day-to-day needs of the Monen Healthcare Clinic
- Greet community members, board members, and guests using quintessential guest services.
- Making appointments for patients, giving patients appointment reminders, and finding replacements for cancellations.
- Execute morning opening, and day-end walk-through of the clinic, to ensure preparation for the day and the following day.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record software for all disciplines, including dental, medical, vision, mental health, and OT/PT.
- Direct community members to the appropriate division, to receive appropriate services.
- Follow-up calls to patients to ensure understanding of meeting with provider and next steps.
- Review intake paperwork for community members wanting to access and utilize services.
- Document information accurately and protect community members’ privacy.
- Provide support to division operations.
- Input data into the database.
- Promote all Heart Ministry Center services.
- Ensure the area is clean, orderly, and professional.
- Listens to and resolves patient complaints.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Detail-oriented and professional.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
- Flexible and adaptable in various situations and when interacting with many different personalities.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks including delegation of tasks when appropriate.
- Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire, familiarity with the roles and functions of the assigned department, and any specifically applicable laws or guidelines.
Education and Experiences:
- Bilingual required-Spanish/English
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with data entry
- Computer proficiency
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
