Employee Relations Specialist Join Our Team as a Human Resources Employee Relations Specialist ! Are you passionate about creating a positive and productive work environment? This position is non exempt working full time Monday- Friday, 40 hrs / week.
Salary Range is from : $31.15 to $43.75
Essential Duties Per Area of Responsibility
Employee Relations
- Act as the first point of contact for employees seeking guidance on workplace concerns, providing advice and support aligned with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in addressing performance management issues, including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and constructive problem-solving.
- Support the VP of Human Resources in conducting employment-related investigations, ensuring confidentiality and impartiality.
Policy Compliance and Guidance
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Assist in developing, maintaining, and communicating HR policies and procedures to employees and management.Advise managers and employees on legal and regulatory compliance in the workplace.Programs and Administration
Manage Workers' Compensation and Unemployment programs across all applicable states, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of claims.Participate in Workers' Compensation and Unemployment hearings as necessary.Oversee hospitality and employee housing initiatives, including management of employee and patient accommodations.Employee Engagement and Development
Coordinate employee engagement surveys, analyze results, and recommend actionable steps to improve workplace culture.Assist in identifying and coordinating training programs to support employee development and organizational goals.Lead and support initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention.Coordinate company-wide employee engagement events to promote a positive workplace culture and foster employee satisfaction.Housing and Hospitality Management
Oversee employee and hospitality housing and RV park accommodations.Manage the application, assignment, and move-in / move-out processes for housing residents and guests.Coordinate maintenance, repairs and cleaning for all units in collaboration with Facilities.Develop and enforce housing policies and procedures to ensure a safe and respectful living environment.Monitor housing occupancy, manage licensing agreements, and maintain accurate housing records.Address resident and guest concerns and resolve housing-related conflicts in a timely and professional manner.Manage reservation system and provide communication and training to HRRMC staff and providers to ensure best utilization of employee and hospitality housing.Communication and Reporting
Develop and distribute employee communications to ensure transparency and engagement utilizing a variety of communication channels.Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations issues, investigations, and resolutions.Provide regular updates to the VP of Human Resources on employee relations trends and concerns.Education and / or Experience
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field.3 years HR generalist experience. Longer tenure (5 years) of HR experience can be substituted for education.Experience with Workers' Compensation and Unemployment Programs and / or with internal investigations preferred.Certificates, Licenses,Registrations
