We are a values-driven organization that is centered around helping others and we are looking for a team member to help us as we grow. Our counseling center has been featured on many television shows including The Oprah Winfrey Show, Dr. Phil, The Doctors, Good Morning America, and have a Christian, faith-based television show on a popular Christian television network.
We are currently looking for an administrative assistant to help answer the phones, assist in processing and preparing orders, booking appointments, and much more.
As an administrative assistant, you are part of the heartbeat of our company. As the first point of contact for those seeking help, it’s imperative to this position that you embody the mission and vision of our company. Your job is to interpret client needs and offer them relevant resources or services that fit their needs. This role requires critical thinking, confidence leading clients in conversation on the phone, and in-depth knowledge about our program to cater best to client needs.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Warmly greet visitors to our facility; answer and direct phone calls promptly, and maintain office efficiency
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Perform a variety of administrative duties such as processing and preparing orders to ship, billing clients, scheduling appointments, sending invoices and schedules, opening or opening/locking up building, etc.
- Confidently guide clients to register client for our retreats.
- Collaborate with other team members to accomplish team goals
Skills and Qualifications
- Detailed, organized & thorough
- Proven administrative experience
- Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations
- Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
- Must be able to type 45 words per minute
- Ability to work well with a team
- Superb written (spelling & grammar) and verbal communication skills
- Confident and comfortable answering and speaking on the phone
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
- High attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Quickbooks or an aptitude to learn new software and systems quickly
- Interpersonal skills
- Absorbs and retains new information quickly.
- Responds well to constructive feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
- Able to lift boxes occasionally (30 lbs.)
- A high level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Minimum education requirement: Associates Degree
- Graphic Design experience is a major PLUS

Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time
Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
