Your Impact
As our Training Specialist, you'll be the driving force behind excellence in care delivery, ensuring our team members have the skills and confidence to provide exceptional support to the individuals we serve. Key Responsibilities
Create and deliver dynamic training programs that inspire excellence in IDD care and support services. You'll focus on:
- Developing innovative training curricula that transform complex care concepts into practical, actionable skills for our team members
- Leading engaging orientation programs for new hires and conducting specialized ongoing training sessions that keep our staff at the forefront of best practices
- Measuring and enhancing training effectiveness through detailed assessments and participant feedback, ensuring continuous program improvement
- Maintaining expertise in the latest industry regulations and evidence-based practices to keep our training content cutting-edge
- Partnering with leadership to identify emerging training needs and develop targeted solutions that enhance care quality
- Providing expert instruction in essential care techniques, including safe lifting and resident handling procedures
- Creating an inclusive learning environment that encourages questions, promotes growth, and celebrates success
What You'll Bring
- Deep understanding of IDD care principles, resident rights, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Outstanding communication abilities that allow you to connect with and inspire learners from diverse backgrounds
- Proven track record of creating and facilitating engaging training sessions that drive real-world results
- Experience with medication administration and vital signs monitoring (preferred)
- Background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Exceptional organizational capabilities and attention to detail
- Natural ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and commitment to fostering growth in others
