An Expanding Cardiovascular Medical Group (10 provider, 60 employees, state-of-the-art 30,000 sq foot facility with an office based cath-lab and ambulatory surgery center) is seeking a Director of Operations.
Job Summary : This is a newly-created position due to growth of the practice Director of Operations is responsible for planning, leading and directing day-to-day clinic operations. Provides medical specialists with the resources required to meet patient needs and financial objectives of the group practice.
Education : Bachelor's required. Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration is preferred.
Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in the administration of an outpatient physician group practice (preferably one with an ambulatory surgery center).
Description : Director of Operations will be instrumental in supporting the Physician CEO to establish and implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems for all operational areas of the medical practice. Will be responsible for day-to-day management of all medical staff, marketing initiatives, physician relationships, healthcare technology implementation, and facility & inventory management. He / She will work collaboratively with other members of the leadership team, physicians and staff members across the various departments and support organizational objectives.
