- Architect and optimize the Product Inventory Management (PIM) system, ensuring smooth handoffs from source to sell.
- Oversee the end-to-end inventory lifecycle, from sourcing and commitments to supply chain logistics, distribution center (DC) allocations, and retail/online hub fulfillment.
- Analyze and enhance boundary systems that integrate various data sources, ensuring efficient data ingestion and distribution.
- Support the migration from legacy homegrown systems and a mainframe environment to a modern Oracle ERP platform, ensuring best practices and scalability.
- Provide expertise in APIs and middleware technologies (e.g., Boomi, Kafka, or similar platforms) to facilitate seamless system integrations.
- Work with the Syndigo Content Automation System (CAS) and ensure smooth adoption, though direct experience with Syndigo is not required.
- Assess the entire technology ecosystem and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Challenge and refine existing solutions, driving digital transformation and optimizing business processes.
- Collaborate closely with product teams, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to align technology with company goals.
- Ensure all solutions are scalable, efficient, and future-proof, avoiding unnecessary custom builds and hard-coded solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in Solutions Architecture or a similar role, preferably in a retail, supply chain, or enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems, enterprise applications, and supply chain logistics
- Expertise in API integrations, middleware technologies (Boomi, Kafka, or similar), and data flow management
- Experience with ERP migrations, ideally Oracle ERP, and transitioning from mainframe environments
- Proven ability to work with complex boundary systems and optimize data ingestion/distribution across platforms
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, hitting the ground running with minimal onboarding
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Syndigo or similar CAS platforms
- Experience working in large-scale retail, banking retail, or similar industries
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and microservices architecture
- Prior experience leading digital transformations or large-scale system migrations
