Assistant Floor Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the dining experience meet our high standards, while also managing staff and maintaining a positive work environment.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices in customer service, food safety, and operational procedures.
• Manage POS systems to ensure accurate order processing and payment handling.
• Oversee kitchen operations, including food management and adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high-quality food presentation and service.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest experiences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and storage spaces.

Experience

• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary practices.
• Experience with staff training and development in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems is essential for efficient operation management.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff alike.
