This role plays a critical role for the Fireplace Business Unit in driving the sales team's productivity and effectiveness. Reporting to the Director, Sales Operations, this role is responsible for enabling and ensuring the highest level of productivity of the sales team by supporting sales strategy and leveraging data driven insights to support our sales excellence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales analytics, performance measurement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive sales efficiency and execution. As a trusted advisor, this role will partner closely with sales leadership to create meaningful analytics that create data-drive insights for their team.
What you will do:
- Partner with the Director, Sales Operations to develop and lead a high-performing Sales Analytics team focused on supporting sales execution and velocity through data-driven insights.
- Design, implement, and enhance analytics frameworks that measure sales effectiveness, identify performance gaps, and recommend actionable strategies for continuous improvement.
- Establish and refine standardized reporting for sales operations, including pipeline analysis, forecasting accuracy, and sales cycle efficiency.
- Develop and manage key performance dashboards and metrics to provide real-time visibility into sales trends, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on leading and lagging indicators to uncover opportunities for revenue growth and process optimization.
- Provide sales leadership with regular reporting on sales team and account performance, offering strategic insights to improve productivity and revenue generation.
- Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to align sales strategies with business objectives and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team supporting the sales operations function.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies in sales processes and implementing analytics-based solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8 or more years of demonstrated experience in the areas of analytics, sales operations, and/or finance
- Proven experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or sales operations with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making
- Demonstrated problem-solving experience
- Strong understanding of the capture and utilization of data to drive increased sales performance and revenue attainment
- Expert in creating reports and dashboards on key sales metrics
- CRM experience, Salesforce preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and data visualization techniques
- Advanced modeling skills with a passion for using data to drive better decision-making
- Previous experience directly leading teams preferred
