JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant performs clerical and administrative duties of a routine and recurring nature. Provides reception support including answering telephones, greeting clients and visitors, making appointments.
JOB DUTIES
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Performs as a receptionist admitting and tracking visitors, customers and applicants into the facility ensuring that they are made aware of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Answers and routes all incoming telephone calls.
Assists with ordering and distributing office supplies, lab coats, and uniforms, while monitoring the budget.
Maintains paper and electronic files.
Sorts and distributes mail.
Compiles and summarizes data using established methods and with close direction.
Composes correspondence, proofreads documents, and prepares presentations.
Coordinates meetings including scheduling and preparing conference rooms, preparing materials and ordering refreshments.
Coordinates and maintains any location specific calendars.
Other administrative duties as requested.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of:
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Manufacturing Environment including – hazards, safety requirements, logistical requirements.
Skill in:
Successfully analyzes and presents data to multiple levels of the organization
Ability to:
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Successfully multi-task
Prioritize work based on short and long term objectives
Proficiency in:
MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED and equivalent skills – ability to read, write, perform basic mathematics, and the ability to learn computer technology and verify accuracy of data.
6 months or more of experience in a clerical role preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sitting at a work station for extended periods of time
Stand, walk, climb stairs on an infrequent basis
Must be able to lift 20 pounds on an infrequent basis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is primarily done in an office setting.
Infrequent production environment exposure which includes noise, dust, moving machinery, fork lifts, and fluctuations in temperature.

The pay range for this full-time, salaried position is $35,764 – 53,646/year. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
