Job Summary:
Entry level position with primary responsibilities to include, being a warm, friendly, helpful point of contact for employees. You will be responsible welcoming and assisting with training of all new temporary associates, new hires and current employees. You’ll also act as a liaison between hourly employees and admin to ensure we’re working toward a positive and all-inclusive culture.
Job Duties:
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist in interviews for hourly operations positions.
Be an active and helpful participant of New Hire Orientation including cross functional duties as needed.
Guide new hires through the facility during NHO, showing them key information.
Facilitate training on day one and throughout the year.
Help administer Safety/GMP training through Alchemy.
Ensure all new hires are handed off to production and introduced to their supervisors.
Observe new hires on the floor and obtain feedback from new hires to provide feedback to the Supervisors.
Onboard all temporary employees.
Maintains positive relationship(s) between operations and admin.
Assists in planning of employee engagement activities.
Other duties as identified or assigned.

Work is primarily done in an office setting
Frequent production environment exposure which includes noise, dust, moving machinery, fork lifts, and fluctuations in temperature

Physical Requirements:
Sitting at a work station for extended periods of time
Stand, walk, climb stairs on an infrequent basis
Must be able to lift 20 pounds on an infrequent basis
Minimum Qualifications:
(1) One – (3) Three years’ manufacturing experience
High school diploma or G.E.D required; Associates Degree preferred
Safety & Environmental:
Employee shall follow factory safety & environmental objectives and targets; follow the plant safety rules, report incidents and near misses immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and take personal ownership of the Safety in their area – to include the safety of visitors and contractors. The employee will also take action to reduce negative environmental impacts by conserving paper, electricity, water and will also recycle all appropriate materials (paper, plastic, food, etc.)
Quality:
Employees shall follow factory food safety, quality objectives & targets; follow Hearthside Good Manufacturing Practices, report food safety and quality issues immediately and maintain compliance with regulations. The employee will also understand the food safety and quality aspects of the position as indicated on QMS, OJT's and SOP's that apply
