Volare Health, LLC is growing and would like to welcome a Regional Scheduler to our team to help support our locations in the Grants Pass, OR and Medford, OR locations!
Summary: As the Regional Scheduler, your role is to develop, implement, and monitor each facility in your assigned region a scalable workforce management model across various areas to ensure effective training and education. Identify areas that need attention and administer new training plans and practices to ensure to move Volare forward with initiatives.
Compensation: $65/K - $75/K (DOE, Salaried)
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Hybrid
Travel Requirements: Must reside in Oregon and have the ability to travel 2-3 times per week to Grants Pass and Medford locations
Job Duties:
- Assists to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department, to ensure that the facility Scheduling Coordinators have their schedules implemented timely.
- Ensure and assist creating the campus' four (4) week Master set schedule and posts schedule in accordance with the Hourly Scheduling policy.
- Makes staffing adjustments as needed according to budgetary constraints, census fluctuations, calls-offs, and pre-planned leaves of absence.
- Manages, supports, and coordinates employees' PTO requests, holiday rotations, and shift trades.
- Ensure all required postings for the assigned region - such daily assignment sheets, and monthly schedules.
- Constant monitoring of the on-call phone.
- Partner/support completion of the daily state staffing sheet – create and ensure sign off by Admin/DON
- Manages nursing hours (PPD) and proper staff ratio to census.
- Monitors overtime closely with the goal of decreasing/eliminating overtime.
- Manages Time and Attendance, including call offs, tardiness, etc.
- For Call Ins ensure they are following the call off rotation process in the building
- Anticipates staffing needs; communicated to regionals with the goal of minimizing open positions.
- Utilizes SmartLinx functionality, including posting open shifts, filling open shifts, and employee messaging.
- Meets each new employee to review their schedule, ask what needs they have and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Rounds to provide review of consistent staffing levels.
Job Qualifications:
- Associate degree in business related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum two (2) to three (3) years' administrative and/or healthcare experience required.
- Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of scheduling and training experience. (Preferably in a healthcare LTC/SNF environment)
- Advanced skills in positions controls, scheduling, training and development.
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong presentation and leadership skills.
