Hearthstone Communities is in growth mode and currently looking for Cook to join our team! A Cook is responsible for following resident menus accurately and working each day with our culinary team to provide exceptional meals and service to our residents. Responsibilities:
- Prepare the kitchen for every meal, while complying with all federal, state and local regulations that govern food service
- Assist in preparing and developing methods for producing high quality and appropriate quantity of food for regular and modified diets.
- Plan cooking schedule to ensure that foods are prepared in a timely and efficient manner.
- Review standard recipes making adjustments to the menu as needed and ensure the residents are offered nourishing snacks.
- Unload and stock refrigerators, freezers and pantry to ensure all kitchen equipment and supplies are available as needed.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED/TASC equivalent is preferred
- Must be able to meet health assessment requirements, including required testing and health documentation.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds if necessary with the ability to sit, walk, bend, and twist. Ability to engage in repetitive motions for extended times required.
