Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage various HR functions, including talent management, employee evaluation, and strategic planning.
Duties
- By collaborating with HCA leadership, the HR Manager helps foster a dynamic, positive workplace culture while ensuring alignment with HCA’s strategic goals and policies
- The HR Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate, confidential employee records and ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements, including FMLA, ADA, and EEOC regulations
- Work closely with Director of Operations, Center Operations Manager and clinical leadership team to support all staff and employee relation needs across HCA’s two locations.
- Key duties include coordinating onboarding, monitoring HR metrics like turnover and employee satisfaction, and conducting orientations and training
- Conduct ongoing 1:1 meeting with each staff to review performance and goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Continue to develop, train and support HCA’s Buddy Program.
- The role also involves updating handbooks addressing employee inquiries, managing benefits programs and ensuring compliance with HCA’s policies
- The HR Manager recruitment, training programs, foster positive workplace culture, enforce HR policies, and collaborate with management to align HR initiatives with business goals
- This role involves handling various HR administrative tasks, assisting in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and contributing to the development of a positive workplace culture
- Support onboarding, including offer letters, background checks, and orientation
- Employee Relations & Support: Serve as a contact for employee inquiries on HR policies and benefits
- Assist with employee engagement and performance evaluations
- Provide management with requested reports and documents
- Coordinate and conduct hiring events
- Handle discipline and terminate of employees in accordance with company policy
- Implement company culture, values and policies
- Oversee the process for receiving, processing, investigating, and responding to employee complaints, including recommending appropriate remedial action
- Monitor and manage leaves of absence to ensure properly tracked in time keeping system and that appropriate documentation is issued and gathered
- Engage with employees, including requesting appropriate medical documentation, to process requests for accommodations of disabilities
- Establish, update, and publish employment, safety, and health policies and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned by the leadership team
- On-board and assist with training new employees
- Flexibility and commitment to work the hours and times required to perform the responsibilities of the job, including evenings and weekends as may be necessary
- Maintain a positive, open, and supportive relationship with all management and staff
