SCOPE
The Midwest Region Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing and maintaining the profitable sales of all Java House, Splenda and Heartland branded products (Sweeteners, Syrups, Creamers, Java House) within their assigned Broadline Distribution region. Responsibilities include increasing Splenda and Java House volume growth, managing a broker network, working within a team to achieve national sales goals and targets, and helping define and execute programs and promotions that will grow sales in their region.
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of Broadline Distribution sales, Regional Chain relationships and sales, K-12 understanding, and an intimate understanding of the inner workings of the Away from Home channel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, Motivate, and hold Accountable up to 15 different Brokers partners
- Ownership in developing Objectives-Goals-Plan to deliver top & bottom line AOP.
- Work with Finance to make sure assigned region is financially healthy and Deductions and Pricing programs are clear and in place.
- Execute National Marketing initiatives and new product launches
- Ability to attend all Major National Tradeshows and regional shows throughout the calendar year.
- Travel up to 50% of the time.
- Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
- Analyze business trends to develop business growth strategy
