Job Summary
Healthcare related employer association has an opportunity available for a part-time administrative assistant. Position requires an associates degree. Some healthcare related work experience or education desirable.
Responsibilities
- Developing materials associated with our annual conference and processing conference registrations.
- Processing annual membership renewals and new memberships.
- Updating our website with the assistance of our webmaster.
- Sending out quarterly meeting announcements and taking minutes at those meetings.
- Updating quarterly hospital quality data from our outside data vendor.
- Keeping membership list information up-to-date.
- Send out occasional surveys to members relating to health plan benefits.
Skills
- Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant is preferred
- Strong proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
- Excellent proofreading abilities to ensure high-quality documentation
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on member satisfaction
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with office management practices and filing systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with members and vendors.
