Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting general warehouse operations. The primary job responsibilities are to read orders and select orders for delivery.
General Purpose of the Position:
The Warehouse Associate will assist in preparing deliveries for drivers the following morning. This position reports to the night warehouse supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Essential Duties & Core Responsibilities:
Select the correct products from the warehouse for customer orders.
Palletize product as it is selected to build customer orders.
Deliver product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner.
Get warehouse organized and in order for the day warehouse crew.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Job Skills & Abilities:
Ability to accurately follow detailed procedures and processes
Ability to work independently
Must have the ability to carry out instructions furnished in both oral and written form
Always maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers
Ability to act in an ethical, honest, and professional manner at all times
Safety awareness and time management
Detail-oriented and professional
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills in English
Able to operate equipment in a safe manner (floor scrubber, basic tools, cleaning products, etc.)
Education & Experience:
Education: High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent preferred
Experience: 2 years’ experience in a meat processing facility and forklift certification preferred. Experience working in a warehouse preferred.
Pay Range:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
