Direct Support Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. The DSP will assist individuals with developmental, intellectual, or physical disabilities in a supportive home environment, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to residents with daily living activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming, meals).
• Assist with medication administration and documentation.
• Implement care plans and support behavior programs as directed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and families.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in caregiving or direct support preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be compassionate, patient, and dependable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.60 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Rotating weekends
