Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated IHS/Companion to provide essential support and care to individuals in need of assistance. Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, home organization, assist with setting up appointments, transportation as needed and meal preparation.
- Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events to promote social interaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing home organization and housekeeping duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
