We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated IHS Worker to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, offering companionship and support in maintaining their independence, and ensuring the well-being of persons served in the community in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to clients based on their individual needs and care plans
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and case managers to ensure the best care for our persons served

Requirements

• Experience or certification in hospice care, home care, long-term care, or related field preferred
• Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities, seniors, or dementia
• Ability to perform tasks with empathy, patience, and respect
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Understanding of social work principles is a plus

• Must be able to pass a background check

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
