What are the responsibilities and job description for the PICC RN position at Heartworks IV?
Duties:
- Placement and troubleshooting of PICC, Midline, and PIV catheters.
- Ability to self-manage and travel to multiple facilities to place requested access.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities.
- Adaptable to changing circumstances and ability to work with on-site staff to coordinate each patient's individualized care plan.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- PICC & Midline Certified.
- Current BLS and/or ACLS Certification.
- Proficiency with placement of short PIV catheters and extended dwell Midline and/or PICC catheters with ultrasound guidance.
- One year minimum experience with placement of indicated vascular access devices.
