Press Brake Operator Job Responsibilities Include
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend, form, or punch metals.
- Bend products or assemblies.
- Setup up metal dies in performing operations in forming
- Requires aligning, fitting and rework pieces that fail inspection.
- Select and install tooling, make machine adjustments.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers and micrometers.
Press Brake Operator Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience operating a press brake and has used calipers and micrometers.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Lift up to 70 pounds with or without assistance, bend, twist and reach.
- Ability to grip, twist wrist and tighten hands. Standing 6 hours a day.
