What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Department - Controller (Full Time) position at Heath Outdoor?
About Us
At Heath Outdoor, we do more than design stunning outdoor spaces—we build environments that bring people together. As one of Lawn & Landscape Magazine’s Top 100 Best Companies to Work, we’ve created a workplace where excellence isn’t just encouraged—it’s celebrated.
We’re growing fast, and with that growth comes opportunity. That’s where you come in.
Our journey has expanded far beyond traditional landscaping. We're actively developing The Yard at North Mass, a vibrant destination that includes:
- The Yard Bar – a lively social space for connection and good times
- The Green Room – a versatile event space for community and celebration
- South Monon Spirits – a future-forward craft spirits concept
- Dog Henge Park – a unique space in Indy for our four-legged friends
- DIGS Garden Center – a neighborhood hub for plant lovers and garden builders
In addition to The Yard, we’re proud to steward Spotts Garden Service, the trusted experts in creating and maintaining thriving gardens, and Indy Insulation & Spray Company, a growing business bringing comfort and efficiency to homes and spaces across the region. Our future headquarters will soon call the historic Butler’s Garden Center home—an inspiring site we're revitalizing with purpose and intention.
At our core, we believe business should be a force for good. From upgrading Elephant Gardens for Juneteenth to building free community gardens, we’re committed to uplifting people and places. Whether it’s through service projects, supporting Indy Pride, or creating opportunities for local talent, we lead with authenticity, inclusion, and a desire to build lasting impact—one project, one relationship, and one business at a time.
