Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Reports To: Operations Manager
Summary:
Successful multi-state distribution company with multiple branches looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Davenport and help us scale our business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing and optimizing operations and a strong understanding of business strategy. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse, including all movement of product within our facilities, maintenance of facilities and trucks, logistics, and the customer experience. They will also be gathering and analyzing data to drive improvements in efficiencies and profitability. Additionally, they will have responsibility for development and maintenance of all operational processes
Responsibilities:
- Schedules incoming shipments from vendors
- Unloads and stores merchandise inventory
- Schedules customer deliveries and branch transfers
- Stages and assists with the loading of customer orders
- Responsible for the maintenance and housekeeping of the warehouse
- Schedules delivery personnel and reviews time sheets
- Communicates expectations to warehouse and driver personnel and monitors performance levels.
- Reviews delivery logs and error reports and provides corrective feedback to drivers and warehouse workers.
- Responsible for maintenance of forklift, trucks and other warehouse equipment
- Completes inventory cycle counts as requested
- Utilizes bar code scanners for receiving and picking orders
- Examines returned merchandise and corresponding paperwork, for proper credit
- Forwards all warehouse paperwork to the office manager after it has been reviewed for accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role in warehouse operations
- Strong understanding of business strategy and operations
- Proven track record of success in managing and optimizing operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
