How You’ll Contribute
As Warehouse Manager you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of company equipment, including logistics, management, maintenance, safety compliance, and process improvements. Handles the receipt, storage, and distribution of company equipment, tools, and materials. Manages warehouse operations as a profit center, while building and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Oversees the receipt, storage, and distribution of equipment, tools, and materials to job sites, ensuring timely deliveries and cost-efficient logistics
- Manages project team relationships, coordinating schedules and aligning warehouse processes to minimize delays and ensure operational readiness.
- Maintains accurate tool and equipment invoicing, job costing, and inventory records, conducting regular audits.
- Utilizes equipment rental software to track and manage inventory across projects.
- Ensures warehouse operations comply with OSHA and company safety standards, conducting regular safety inspections and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Oversees maintenance and repair of tools, equipment, fleet vehicles, and warehouse facilities, scheduling regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Implements process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, leveraging technology for inventory tracking.
- Manages equipment requests from field teams, coordinating distribution and pick-ups to address priorities efficiently.
- Establishes and maintains vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
- Analyzes equipment usage to determine cost-effective purchasing and rental decisions, providing recommendations on large purchases.
- Manages warehouse budget forecasting and ensures operations remain within budget.
- Cleans and repairs returned tools and equipment, including replacing electrical cords on small power tools as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED equivalent plus three years of relevant warehousing and supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, thorough knowledge of traffic laws, and experience with defensive driving. Ability to safely operate various vehicles and tow trailers.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient and operational warehouse.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with employees, vendors, supervisors, and the public.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and adapt to shifting demands.
- Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and sound judgment.

- Strong mathematical aptitude for accurate cost estimates and comparisons.
- Knowledge of operating and repairing various tools and equipment, including transportation vehicles, power equipment, and hand tools used in commercial construction.
- Proficiency in computer software, including MS Office, Procore, and other job-specific programs.
