ASC Administrative Analytic Clerk

Job Summary:

The ASC Administrative Analytic Clerk (AAAC) works under the direction of the Administrator/Director and ASC Coordinator, overseeing the management of data collection, analysis, and reporting. Responsible for maintaining an organized data repository in a shared web drive, ensuring accurate and efficient access for administrative operations within the ASCs.

The physicians of Heaton Eye Associates have been serving East Texas’ vision needs for over 40 years. We offer state-of-the-art technology with special services ranging from primary eye care to world-class laser surgery. Our physicians were the first to offer LASIK laser vision correction in East Texas and have performed tens of thousands of procedures since its inception. Heaton Eye offers a wide range of premium lenses including Symfony Extended Depth of Focus lenses, PanOptix® lenses, and Vivity® lenses to offer freedom from glasses and contacts after cataract surgery. Our surgeons were the first in East Texas to offer the RxSight Light Adjustable Lens, the only lens implant that allows patients to preview and adjust their vision after cataract surgery. We are the first and only practice in the area offering EVO ICL, another exciting option offering patients freedom from contacts and glasses. Certifications/Licensures:

Licensure as appropriate, CPR

Experience:

One to three years' experience in healthcare business. Experience in perioperative environment. Experience in data management.

Education:

High school graduate, college degree / credits; Associate, Health Care Administration or Medical Assistant.

Primary Job Duties:

• Data collection, analysis, and communication of multi sourced data indicators for use in operations, statistical analysis, and tending.
• Daily collection of case data
• Maintain premium lens database for financial reporting
• Records risk variances
• Maintain physician call data
• Collects and records patient satisfaction returns … also responds to patient concerns
• Manages the ASC payable reconciliation and coding
• Cross trained in Registration Clerk, Medical Record (for daily lunch relief and planned/unplanned absence of registration personnel)

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1 to 3 years in healthcare business and clinical experience
• Computer competency with Excel, Microsoft office, Microsoft word,
• Proficient in reading and writing the English language.
• Proficient in medical terminology.
• Proficient in math calculations.
• Proficient in computer, electronic health record, and printer technology.
• Self-motivated independent in job responsibility, ability to critically think and process information.
• Physical presentation of neat, professional, well groomed appearance.
• Demonstrate reliability, pleasant attitude, and willingness to work toward an environment of trust and team work.
• Communicate professionally verbally, non verbally.
