Groundskeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a passion for landscaping, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. As a Groundskeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our grounds are well-kept and inviting.

Duties

• Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
• Assist in landscape maintenance by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed.
• Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of gardens and lawns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of groundskeeping equipment and storage areas.
• Monitor the health of plants and lawns, addressing any issues such as pests or diseases promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to execute seasonal landscaping projects.

Experience

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools used in gardening and landscaping tasks.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and lawn care practices is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality work.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $13.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
