Work is performed onsite and primarily outside in the divisions of Water, Technology, Roads, and Pressurized Irrigation.
Duties include maintaining City water, roads, and irrigation systems and operating excavation equipment. Physical requirements include considerable bending, lifting, stooping, and twisting. Start time is promptly at 7:00 a.m., with a 30-minute lunch, and end time is 5:30 p.m. M-Th.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old, able to learn safety practices, follow directions, and possess a valid driver's license. Upon offer and acceptance of employment, applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
