Heber City Corporation (the City of Heber) is seeking to hire individuals for seasonal work for the Public Works Department. This is the kind of job that you gain valuable experience in municipal infrastructure.
Work is performed onsite and primarily outside in the divisions of Water, Technology, Roads, and Pressurized Irrigation.
Duties include maintaining City water, roads, and irrigation systems, as well as basic operation of excavation equipment. Physical requirements include considerable bending, lifting, stooping, and twisting. Start time is promptly at 7:00 am with 30 minute lunch, end time is 5:30 pm M-TH.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old, able to learn safety practices, follow directions, and possess a valid driver's license. Upon offer and acceptance of employment, applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
